The link is to a battery without BMS. It states it is LiFePo4 but LiFePo4 normally run cool and does not require a fan.. I wonder what kind of cells they are using to weigh 161 lbs vs 95 lbs for the same cells I bought the other day of the same capacity.

Are you sure you have the same battery? They are being sold as 70%+ remaining capacity which means they are not just used, they are well used. LiFePo4 cells should have 80% remaining capacity when they are at the end of the manufacture specs of 3000 cycles.

You can offer your best offer if you wish. This should have about 70% remaining, could be more, but as is. I have not cycled it. If the stated capacity is lower I will gladly offer a % of your money back. These are great for Solar backup batteries. Search BYD 24V on youtube if interested.
