The Kisae Abso DMT1250 that I mentioned above will handle either 12v or 24v alternator. Also it's solar input can be either 12v panels or two in series for max voltage of 45v. I'd suggest downloading the manual which talks about it in more detail.

Description of operation and settings in the manual look good .
The 50A model is about $350, the 30A model is about $285

Looking for a controller to charge my battleborn 100 ah 12 volt battery from the 12 v charging system of my truck

Just picked up that same battery this week to use for my new portable power station to be used with road trips, camping, home based emergency preparedness. I'm currently in the design phase and accumulating parts. Will post progress if anyone is interested.
