So many MPPTs can be "overdriven" with panels, ideal for the UK and its cloudy skies, can you do the same with a BMS?

So if I have 2000-3000w of panels, but only 120A of MPPT (@13v) to collect 1500w of power thats all fine.

Generally there will be "some" load but if the BMS is 100A will it just take 100A and ignore the rest or will it stop all charging if the MPPTs are giving a max 120A ?

Specifically the low-temp-disco BMS here that I've ordered

I don't see much info on the BMS you have on order but it will have a limit on the charge current it will accept.
If you exceed that limit the BMS protection circuit will trigger and stop the current flow to protect the battery(and the BMS).
At least that is what should happen.

Actually I would be a bit surprised if your BMS will even accept 100 amp charge current.
Do you have any more doco than the link in your sig?

No, but looking at my solar upgrade, so wondering if to add 60A MPPT to the 30A I have for 90A or adding a 100A for 130A total.
