Hello, I have 4x 400w 48v panels and my growatt is showing 140v coming from the pv array.

My SOK battery screen says it is 45v, the comm cable showed the battery voltage yesterday and now it doesn’t.

The growatt shows fault 19, meaning the comms to battery are not working(i think?).

It doesn’t appear to be charging.

I’ve disconnected all loads from the growatt.

How do I get it charging?

Has charging ever worked?

If yes, set battery type to USE, disconnect comms cable.

Set bulk to 55.2V
Set float to 54V.
I only hooked it up yesterday and I don’t think charging was working. Being new, I only was paying attention to the pv array voltage and assumed I was good.

I also have a generator hooked up and it is letting me use some ac devices, but the growatt continues to say fault 19 no battery comms(?). Could the SOK battery be in some kind of too low mode being down to 45v?

Im at the cabin for another day and hiking up a hill to get cell phone signal and use the forum lol.

Any ideas are welcome, I will try them!

I am on mode USE right now, but yeaterday the mode was default mode “Utl” i think it is called. I also noticed it was set to AGM battery on option 5.

I only discovered these settings after the battery got too low this morning.

If set to AGM on 5 and the comms cable is plugged in, that may generate an error.

When on USE, comm cables must not be plugged in.

You must be set for lithium to use comms. I don't know the exact setting.
