Hi there, was looking for advice from someone who has experience with this before I start experimenting with my own system. I have the shinephone app set up and working and I've noticed it has a IOT integration called Grohome. I've setup many zigbee, and hue systems before so am fairly familiar with these programs. Inverter is an spf5000es
I want to create 2 automations in particular:
Winter
When battery level is > 90% and outdoor temperature is below 20c then turn on smart plug (to electric underfloor heating in bathroom)
Summer
When battery level is > 90% and time of day is <sunset then turn on smart plug (to water pump)
My questions are:
Is the Grohome system based on Zigbee?
Do you need a smart gateway to connect the smart devices to the inverter, and which one, if it isnt zigbee protocol?
Does the app let you setup automations involving inverter data, most importantly battery level.
Or is there another simple way to achieve what i'm looking to achieve?
