Just added an extra connection in the wiring path and I'm not getting any solar power. It's very rainy though so not sure if there should be any. Is it possible to test with multimeter that the PV loop that connects to MPPT is continous, there isn't faulty connections in the wiring?

Test voltage and current with clamp multimeter

In daylight you will still see voltage from the panels even it its raining, disconnect from the controller and measure the volts with a DC meter. Take care if you have many panels in a series string, high volts.
To measure current short the panel output wires together and measure current with a DC clamp meter. If no clamp meter and If the current is less than 10 amps, set the meter to the 10 amp range with the probes In the current measuring points on the meter, connect the meter across the panel output wires.
The problem may be a faulty connection.
