Hello,
I am new to this forum so excuse me if this is already discussed. I couldn't find anything with a search but I may have missed it.
Please also excuse my english, I am from the Netherlands.
My question is does anybody know about a consumer Hydrogen Fluoride detector that can be installed next to a LifePo4 battery?
Background:
I would like to install batteries in my basement, but this is a closed room. No ventilation.
The safety data sheets of LifePo4 batteries mention the risk for Hydrogen Fluoride.
I would like to prevent walking into my basement room into a cloud of HF...
I understand the BMS should prevent any of this happening, but I always think worst case: what if the BMS has a bug. Or what if there was a production fault in the battery?
Please let me know also how you look at this.
Best regards,
Rene
