Why did you go with double pole?

It wasn't the factor someone suggested this one.

I do not know if they are technically necessary but can provide additional safety if system is not properly grounded

Yes the way you are showing your system with all panels in series 16 would be better as you only have around 6 amps

But it would allow you to put 2p3s as well so I would stick with the 16A
