Almost finished installing my RV solar system. Have panels connected to 100/50 Victron mppt, mppt connected to battery bank (400ah) Renogy lithium. About to replace my Powermax PM4 75A 110V AC to 12V DC 75 Amp Power Converter with Built-in 4 Stage Smart Battery Charger with a PD9145alv which puts out 14.6v for lithium. Have a bmv712 still to be installed, should i use the bmv712 to turn off the charger by using the relay on the 712? Is it neccessary? Should i leave the old converter/charger in place? I am confused? Help.... Thanks!
