SA Ubuntu Setup, Server or Desktop?

Anyone know what might be better to install on an Orange Pi 3 LTS for Solar Assistant? Ubuntu server or desktop. My goal is to load it on the internal storage, but I don't know how much log data SA needs...maybe it would be best to use an SD card and run desktop for the ui? Anyone know?

Solar assistant is it's own image. When you install the image, it will overwrite any OS you have installed/configured.

I've never seen a package that can be installed on your own OS.
