The Samlex SEC-1230UL - Is it any good for charging flooded 12V batteries with a 120 AC source vs a Victron Energy Blue Smart IP22?
One advantage I see with the Samlex is it can charge three 12V batteries at the same time vs the Victron (am I reading that right?)
I have two seperate 12V flooded deep cycle batteries I would like to charge at the same time from a 4500W gas generator, then I connect them together to make a 24V bank for a boat trolling motor. OR, should I get the 24V 15A charger and charge both at the same time as a 24V bank?
My pea brain theory is the seperated 12V batteries will charge faster at 12V 30A vs charging both at 24V 15A.
Feedback appreciated.
