Does anyone know how UPS settings on inverters actually works?
seems like the transfer time in less in UPS than APL, I would like to get deeper into how this works
I tried it on Growatt SPF 5000 ES and some Voltronic inverters.

It doesn't change the transfer speed.
It only changes the parameters of when it transfers.
"UPS" has a stricter tolerance. For more sensitive equipment.
And "APL" has a wider acceptable tolerance. For less picky appliances.

UPS take more idle power 200W from grid on APL take from battery 100W

On UPS inverter is always on AC->DC switching times are faster

Can you help me, when i set the inverter on APL mode, the grid meter light up with N-missing and it doesn't happens with UPS mode. And in the evening, when solar panels shut down, everything working perfectly without any lights on grid meter.
