I've installed the attached elcheapo wifi power meter. Its working and I can make sense of the real time reporting. However, can anyone give me a description or meaning of the line items in the historical reports?

Total Generation: Total PV production for the period??
Forward Energy 1: total kWh consumed??
Generation 1: PV consumer locally??
Forward Energy 2: ??
Generation 2 PV exported to grid??

Circuit 1 is load and Circuit 2 is PV output as per the attached diagram.

Thanks

Given the diagram, my guess is that "forward" energy is "net" energy consumed (load more than solar), and "generation" is "net" energy exported (production more than load). Seems like it measures each direction separate. Also seems like you have split phase or 2 phase power.

FWIW, Import and Export for each phase, assuming your CTs are hooked up in the correct direction. Net would be import - export.
