Wow... Such amazing data. You've bested 99% of scientists with that one!

Better send it off to NASA! Make sure to CC space force

So, the title says THEORY And again, a scale they choose to use to make their numbers work.
Man, you should be recruited to peer review so many scientific articles! You're so good at it!

y0, you didn't answer my question. Do you have solar and what vehicles do you drive?
I've got a solar powered kayak I ride to work and sleep in.

I'll answer the question when you back up a single thing you type with data

That's what I thought. Nothing more than a green freak who doesn't live the talk.
Back to fantasy writing when you are frustrated I see. A pretty easy tell.

Is this some coping mechanism for you?

I'll actually take the bait though.

Yes solar panels. Around 11kw.
28 USA made, 8 Canadian.

Eg4 18kpv and their batteries because I'm not made of money and that combo checked a lot of boxes.

We have two PHEVs because I didn't think EV infrastructure is there yet and may never be. Not because I didn't think the tech is possible, but because our government has been infiltrated by money.. Much of it "do nothing and keep my billion dollar profits going" money. We mostly drive on our solar production beyond a few road trips a year to go camping and visit family. We burn dinosaurs then. I haven't filled up in months.

1.5 acres of land, a decent sized garden, an indoor grow room, a few guns in a safe for if/when this country goes to shit. I don't think we can turn this ship around... And this thread has me even more firmly believing that.

We try our best to minimize but we ain't perfect. I do have too many bicycles

See you do have a human side. 😀

Sounds like a nice setup.

What model PHEV, hows the range on battery only?

Indoor hydro or dirt? Growing indoors is an excellent way to use up excess power.

Have hope. I bet the alien invasion or attack that wasn't is used to bring people back together after we are pushed further apart...

Nobody's perfect and 2 wheels is better than 4.

The wife has a Kia Niro. It gets around 24-26 miles on a charge.

I have a volvo xc60 t8 extended. It gets around 30 pure EV miles in the cold and 40 when it's nice. Rated at 35 miles of range and it does average out around there. Perfect for my 20 mile round trip commute every day.

I'm lucky to have a walk out basement in NC (slanted lot) so I just grow in dirt and move it to the back yard. That's what I spent most of yesterday doing. I don't have a good picture of the grow setup but you can catch half of it here.

Thanks for the follow up.
I'll have to check out the Volvo, I have a 34 mile round trip commute.

I have a walk out basement too, I've contemplated building a raised bed in a corner.... Vines can quickly take over a tent.

Rubbing alcohol and peroxide for the fungal / soil gnats?

Looks like you have 10' ceilings, I'm jealous.

Some from last year. Getting the itch to sprout again...

This is what the wife uses. Usually a bunch of fungus indicates that the plants/soil are too wet.
We use pretty warm water when mixing, shake well. If it sits give it a good shake again.

I fight with humidity enough I don't want a raised bed living down here full time.

That's just a repurposed alcohol bottle with water in it and a Neem oil bottle. I brought in some pests when I moved the orange tree in for winter.

The Volvo is awesome but expensive and they took away the tax rebates for the new models so it sadly makes less sense now. Another government stupid move with good intentions. There is a volvo wagon or sedan PHEV that gets the rebate because enough of it is made it America. I can't remember which one.

Just ran some errands and decided to take a picture of the PHEV use. 900+ miles driven and still have over 3/4 a tank of gas. 35 hours in this car driving without a gas stop...and I still have 3/4 of a tank.

Pretty nuts.

They should have pushed for these instead of pure EVs, worked on the infrastructure, then converted.
