After watching Will's videos and reading his discussion of the MPP all-in-one systems I clicked the link to purchase a PIP-2424LV-MSD Solar Inverter (MPP USA 24V 2.4 kW PIP). I also purchased all of the recommended Windy Nation cables through Amazon, so assumed that when I got ready to build my...
HAHAHA - got it! Based on what I've heard during past power outages none of our neighbors have generators, so I don't want to be identified as the only one with power.

At what latitude is your property? What you're doing is very close to what I would like to do, but I live at 38 degrees north and don't have good solar exposure due to a large tree on the property, so would have to adjust accordingly.
For what it's worth, as of tonight I still haven't heard from them, although my credit card was charged on 11/12, so I canceled my order and notified them. I've since ordered a similar item from another vendor. Hope this helps someone going forward.
Has anyone had issues with this supplier? I ordered their 1 to 4 MC4 Y Branch Connectors on 11/12, was informed the same day that my order was on the way, but haven't heard anything since. Is this normal or should I reorder somewhere else? Thanks!
Need to know: If I have multibranch connectors designed to connect 4 solar panels to provide power to my Kodiak generator, but for whatever reason need to use only two panels, am I going to have a problem? Thanks in advance...
