    My thoughts were the same as yours. I was going to go with LFP originally. These are about the same price as the cheaper LFPs. I really like the idea of no BMS to deal with as well as the wide range of operation. Overall, they seem to be very forgiving batteries.

    You might be referring to silicate salt batteries. Watts247.com has them. I bought 4 150ah ones from them a few months ago. They are working very well.

    Supposedly, these can be discharged completely with no memory effect as long as you charge them back up immediately. Does it lower the overall lifetime? Probably some.
