I think he's asking too much for a used battery. Not enough savings in it for you to assume any risk. Prices are falling on these batteries right now so compare his asking price to the new cost right now. Current price new x .65 is what I would offer.

I just downloaded and installed the software from Maple Leaf Power Systems. Loaded it and ran it, but no batteries yet for a real test. It looks to have everything I'm looking for. Hopefully it populates all the data fields correctly. Thanks for the help

There is also an "AC in control" setting that tells the inverter when to connect to an AC input. You can choose batt voltage, SOC, OFF, etc. Worth a quick check.
