@ShelbyWatson
This video will answer all the questions you are looking for . He also has a bunch of other micro wind turbine videos with diagrams and schematics on what you need.
I would take that article with a grain of salt as they are a solar company first (also the wind turbines they do sell are the not so good designs with the tail pointing down). If you are interested in learning about small wind turbines, I would suggest you to check out John Daniel's channel on...
Either I am not doing it right or I am just too weak. I ended up just buying a terminal post spreader. It popped it open the first try. Thanks for your suggestions.
Wow this is a lot cheaper than the SOK batteries. Would you recommend the Xuba prebuilt over the SOK? I think the SOK do not have 1C discharge rating, but according to the screenshot from Amy, these are 1C discharge?
Hmmm, I think that would probably be the best option. So in this case, I could buy something like this cable, cut off the SAE part and plug it into my charge controller would work right? https://www.amazon.com/iGreely-Polarity-Reverse-Adapter-Automotive/dp/B07X2VYK5R/
I tried to use pliers, but it won't spread. I think I will have to buy the battery terminal spreader. Hammer to a terminal sounds kind of dangerous haha.
@gnubie I meant if they were side by side, how can you tell them apart? There is nothing on the device itself to distinguish them apart. I ask is because I bought 4215N and I want to make sure they didn't send me the 4210N by mistake.
Did you ever find any other info on those batteries @DJP5520 ? I am no battery expert, but I have been running a pair of lead acid batteries and can you give you some of my thoughts and information I have found so far as well as my thought process going into this.
The reason I went with lead...
Hello, I just bought an Epever 4210N hooked up to some lithium batteries making it 24v. I have 2 Sharp Solar Panels each rated at 185w Voc 44.9v. The max input voltage is 100v and having these 2 panels in series should put it at 89.8v. I read somewhere you should not run the voltage more than...
Thank you @Supervstech. Yea, there isn't much of a guide except to follow based on observation and the links he posts in the comment section. Can you answer one more question? I have the NEMA 14-50 and on the AliExpress site, I see there is a 240v option. Would it be better to get the 240v...
Bumping this thread to see if anyone has an easy solution to this where I can just buy an adapter to plug my goal zero solar panel into a a non goal zero charge controller.
You can also build a nice 12v system with Will's van life parts here (people really like the 12v 200ah SOK batteries). If you want an easy plug and play system, I would buy the following 3 things with links provided below ( I removed Will's affiliate links because affiliate links are banned. If...
Hi I am wondering if someone can help me out here. So I inherited a couple 4D marine grade batteries from a neighbor that look like similar to this battery. They have sae terminal posts. I purchased a pair of marine terminal posts on Amazon ( these specifically Schumacher BAF-MT1 Marine...
Not sure if this is the right section of the forum to ask this, but I have an 18650 24v power pack that is connected to an LV2424 (not connected to grid) that I use to charge my Model 3 at 3mi/hr (basically level 1 charging). I came across this video of Jehu using an 18650 24v pack charging a...
Does anyone know how to tell the difference between the EPEVER 4210N and 4215N? They look identical with the same weight and design. There isn't any marking on the device either to tell them apart.
