Why does the serial number matter? The manufacturer code from the text and that from the QR don't match.

I'd say powder coated. None of the four have much texture and all have that kind of uniform gray background. They do have kind of a holographic look where they're clear from one angle and the camera can pick them up, but practically disappear from a slightly different angle. That could just...

I've gathered that CATL cells are at least as good as EVE. With the labels showing both, logic suggests they're neither.
