The inverters user manual just show limits for 102%, 110% and 125% overload. Doesn’t show the surge numbers. It does say loaded motor capability 4hp. I’m guessing a soft start is smart to have regardless.

Any update on the success of this? I’m about to do something similar and looking for a WiFi are to move my HVACs to my solar inverters.

Some pics. The storage rack is from Home Depot as the shelf spacing was beyond perfect! The two positive cables going to the busbar are equal length as are the negatives. The little grey box under the EG4 is where the SHP connects to the “grid”, ie, the 120v output of the EG4.

Actually this hub is for EG4 batteries. “Compatible with 48V EG4-LiFePOWER4 batteries only”

Are you using the SHP as split phase? If so, make sure all the odd numbered circuits are on the same phase and likewise that the even numbered curators are on the other phase. If not, the error light comes on and the panel won’t work.
