I am slowly going through the design of my Solar and Lifepo4 setup. I was wondering is a DC disconnect is necessary? My thought is to just install some XT90S connectors and some 20a fuses between the panel's and the SCC.
I am in the process of installing a Samlex Evo 4024 in my 5th wheel. I have a question about wiring it up. My main panel is 50 amps. In the Evo manual it shows the Evo receiving its AC power from one leg of the main panel, and passing through the Evo to a sub panel, and out to the appliences. It...
I just received my 8- 202ah cells from RJ Energy. I am wondering how I should install 2- 4S 120a daly LiFePO4 BMS's. Is it possible to build a 4s2p battery and double up the BMs's, or do I need to build 2 seperate 4s1p battery's?
I am looking for a solar charge controller I am going to install on my 5th wheel. I purchased three for three SunPower 345W X21 panles from SanTan Solar a few weeks ago, and am l am going to initially set them up with a 12v 400ah battery bank and may upgrade components in the future for a 24v...
I am finally looking to finish my solar and Lifepoe4 install on my 5th wheel. I have already installed 1380 watts of solar and a Midnite Solar Classic 250v SCC. I My plan is to use a Samlex EVO-4024 with Lifepoe4 24v bank, and have a separate 12v Lifepoe4 bank for my 12v Hydraulic jacks...

I have 4 345 watt panels I am installing on my 5th wheel and wonder what I should use for a 4 string penetration through the roof? I see several 1 string ports. Does most people just have 4 separate cable entry glands?
I am looking at posible upgrades. Currently in my 5th wheel I have a Samlex evo-4024. I bought it not understanding it can't be used with the existing 50a panel, so had to install a sub panel and move over the circuits it could handle. The other issue was not being able to use the common ground...
I am wondering if my plan is all right. I want to use a 16 cell Luyuan 280A diy battery box, and thinking about a 24v 2P8S configuration, because I doubt 2 BMS's will fit inside of the box. I will be pulling 300A maximum. Will this work alright?
