Thanks for the clarification on the savings shack! I’ll admit that I haven’t read all 15 pages on this thread 😅
I did see the newsletter is coming, I just like to see all the recent products populated on a web page. I get far too many emails from various companies as it is and I’m sure I’m not...
@HighTechLab Hey Dexter, long time interested buyer, first time responder to thread.
First of all, the only reason I haven’t purchased anything yet is because I ran into some significant financial losses and have currently relied on a minimal system until I recover. However, I am hoping to be...
I read through this, but I’m bot currently adding addition charging from the tow vehicle. The only changes I’m planning are to rewire the positive cables currently used by the converter/charger to instead go direct from battery to DC loads. The battery will be charged via a LiFePO4 charger...
I don’t have easy access to my computer right now, but I’ll try later.
There’s a standard 7-pin connection. No isolated or dc-dc converter that I’ve found.

My 2009 fifth wheel came wired as such:
PD 9180ALV 80A lead acid converter/charger with dual positive and negative terminals on the bottom. Positive #1 goes to fused DC load center, positive #2 goes to...
It seemed like we were SOL on the >3000VA models in the US, with the only options being two in parallel or going with a Quattro, but they finally gave us a piece of the sweet Euro pie! Specs look awesome. Limited to 48V systems, but you get a small bump in efficiency along with much higher...
My thoughts: the front pass through does make the most sense for access and weight distribution. If this were my rig, I would do an audit of all the things I use that I don’t need to access from the interior and group the lightest items together. Then I would find a way to mount a lightweight...
Hi,
I've been doing a lot of research lately to find components for my build that can withstand the rigors of frequent travel in a fifth wheel on dusty, unpaved roads. Morningstar has reached the top of my list for ultimate reliability amongst the power delivery components, and I'm...
Attaching screenshots of my brief conversation with Timeusb, one of the more intriguing Chins/LiTime clone companies I’ve come across. I saw that Will tore down one of their previous batteries and it didn’t go well, but it looks like people are generally happy with them now. Looks like another...
Follow-up regarding customer service:
I sent a message to Timeusb via the product page for their metal-cased 220Ah battery to ask a question, and I got a response from a human to my email within two hours. Pretty promising, though of course this is on the pre-sales end, not post-sales.
I haven't tested either, but both Redodo and Timeusb have sales right now on their own rebranded versions of the "smart" battery clone found amongst several of the clone companies (PowerQueen and LiTime have them, maybe others). They all have low-temp charging protection and the same "one-touch"...
This is awesome in theory, but my 37' rig is already 13.25" tall and I don't think I could add any additional height without creating my own atmosphere :ROFLMAO:
