I bought a hammer crimper from Murdoch's ranch supply for $18. I have crimped #2 with it and it has worked well. However, I have not used a hammer but have put it in a bench vise and squeezed the crimp that way. Works well.
Did anyone ever take a chance on this battery and order one? Their website now shows the deal is over and you can't order one at any price claiming they are now in production.
Got mine too. I agree minimal packaging but no damage that I can see. Since I am a noobie at this I will look forward to your capacity tests. I am in NW Montana so sun profile will be quite different I would guess. My intent is to install them on my fiberglass roof pull trailer using 3M VHB...
Hey guys, has anyone got any experience with this supposedly new style very thin 100 watt panel from Windy Nation being sold at Home Depot for only $69.99? It has a thickness of only .67 inches but it still uses an aluminum frame. When comparing it's electrical specs with their standard 100...
Hey guys, check this out and comment on what you think. Not much info on this model yet but looks interesting with a built in transfer switch.

No of course not. I'd been looking for a 2000 watt pure sine wave inverter and ran into this one. I bought a VoltWorks model off a guy on Ebay and got a good deal so I'm waiting for that one to arrive.
Hey guys I just ordered a BougeRV 40 amp MPPT charge controller off of their website for $30 off making the total $89.99 which I think is a good deal for this particular model that is sold other places as well under different brands like HQST, etc. Use the discount code MPPT30 to get the...
Thanks guys for responding. If you go to Home Depot's questions and answers about the panel, you can pick up some opinions. Jake, a Windy Nation engineer even chimed in explaining a little bit about the design:
"This panel was specifically designed for off-grid applications where a customer...
Doesn't anyone care to comment? I'm looking to pull the trigger on a couple of these for my small travel trailer and would like to get some opinions and/or recommendations.
Thanks Lewi for your comments. I am buying it to replace a built-in PWM controller contained in a Giandel 1600 watt inverter being fed by two 100 watt panels on my 19 foot travel trailer. I want to add two more panels for a total of 400 watts which this controller I think will handle. I don't...
Thanks Whinny. I saw in the specs that it had both lithium and set your own parameters so I decided to give one a try at this price. For those of you who would like to see the specs and the manual, here it is...
