Made a mistake on purchase.. I'm Sol?

Ty, I didn't even know think about the hz. When I was trying to keep it for the mini split. Lucky it say it works 50/60. Feel like an idiot on this. Life got in the way and didn't check it. I only notice it when I finally go time to read the manual.

I'll pass. Ty for the reply. I'll save this my mom place. I was planning on getting a mini split for her anyways. This would fit the bill then.

    Newbie on breaker size

That makes so much sense. I'm but frog in a well here, one track mind. My only concern was to power my window AC. But that would make sense if ever need to go a bit bigger.

    Newbie on breaker size

But didn't your first post you already mention I should just get the 100 amp breaker? I know the cable is rated higher. I understand a bit better now, bms rated high. You then go off cable amp rate to match. Last question then. If I'm not planning on doing extremely high draw. Do i even need...

    Newbie on breaker size

Oh, that was you ment. Cable isn't UL but according to sellers it was rated at 150 amp. I didn't know cable can be UL rated too.

    Newbie on breaker size

The 4 awg pure copper worked. I don't think there was any room left if I go 2/0. It was pretty tight.

    Newbie on breaker size

Ya, Ty. I thought as much it would not fit. I didn't risk it and already order the 4 awg. When you say breaker for both ends. You mean a dual pole one right? If needed PV to inverter breaker. My imp is 10, so IF I do 3 panel in parallel. I'll need 30-40 amp breaker...to my understanding.

    Newbie on breaker size

Hi, Ty for your reply. The PowMr unit book stated 4 awg. The port itself on unit was one of those kind you place cable in directly. Then screw down. I wasn't sure if getting a 2/0 would allow it to fit. I think I was a bit confused. It mentioned 10 amp breaker. I now understand the 10 amp is...

    Newbie on breaker size

Hi sorry for the question. I try looking around and even that sizing chart. It didn't make much sense for me. I purchased this 1600W HYBRID 12V 80 amp mmpt inverter. But the step by step instructions are horrible. The YouTube video is good, but it the 10kw one. I have only two 200W running on...

New help on "mounting" two panel on ground.

OK, I go it. I'll probably do wood and pcv to keep cost down. Went a bit over budget with current setup. Didn't account for 2 awg and fuse. The hybrid all in one purchase (ebay) didn't included it. Current cost at will take me 6 years to break even at 2k usage a day lol. Can't wait to show off...

New help on "mounting" two panel on ground.

Sorry, I don't have the visionary skill to bring those items into my drawing board. I need to see the idea to re produce it. I think this is what you mean. Just for others to see. Something like this, with solar panel on it.

New help on "mounting" two panel on ground.

Ty, I think that is a perfect setup. It was surprisingly hard to find such information. Eveyone was digging and doing all that 2X4.

New help on "mounting" two panel on ground.

Hi everyone. So I got a very basic setup, due to HOA. I live in Florida and wanted a 400W setup to power my window ac. It is an inverter type. So it use 200-400W , usually 10 min push stop. All day 24 hr at 77F it use like 1.5Kw. So with a 280 Ah, it should give me enough reserve for the whole...
