    Carbon foam batteries?

Ah. Thx for the clarification (I think). I just bought the Canbat lead carbons and was told by the dealer that they are AGM. They are selling them along side their AGMs at the same price stating the AGMs get 400 cycles and these get 2000 and work fine in cold weather. So I took the risk.

    Carbon foam Batteries

Lead Carbon? Same thing? Check out Canbat. I opted for them over Lithium because half the price, not effected by cold, same price as AGM with 2000 cycles compared to AGM 400.

    Odd Behaviour From Renogy Setup.

I did wonder about that breaker. Will look into a better one. Edit. Watching the vid and looking into them I see a couple of things. 1. There's a gizillion of em and all about the same style, ranging from cheap like mine to high range cheap like the $70 one I looked at. Scrolling pages in both...

    Odd Behaviour From Renogy Setup.

I have an excellent charger and can do that if you think it might help. The 12.7-.9 was how they arrived out of the box. I have set the charge settings as per the Renogy instructions.

    Odd Behaviour From Renogy Setup.

Everything is new. At installation I checked each individually. All around 12.7 to 12.9. Have not checked connected together. Do u recommend retesting individually when they are reading 100%? And flat mounted panel? U mean the inverter? Does that have something to do with it? Edit; OK, just...

    Odd Behaviour From Renogy Setup.

Altho my working setup is acceptable I am curious why this happens. First, a little background. I have a cargo conversion close to completion. Had my maiden voyage last week and everything is great. I opted for a Renogy setup with Canbat Lead Carbon batteries. Three of these at 100ah each. Two...

    Renogy minimum number of batteries?

So for something like firing up substantial AC that requires most of the 3000w capacity at startup? Mine is a cargo trailer build and when I go for ac I won't need any more than a 9000btu unit. But I can get away with the 2 100ah batteries, right? Without harm?

    Could you expand on that?

    Renogy minimum number of batteries?

I have the Renogy 3000W inverter/charger hooked up to two 100ah Canbat lead carbon batteries being powered by two 100W Renogy panels. This is a brand new system and all is working well. I have just had a closer look at the inverter information and it states the minimum number of 100ah batteries...

    Rover Setup

Repeated the event of the first night of hookup and got the same error code 1. Battery over discharged. At 13.1 volts. This with the main shutoff switch to the battery off. Turning it back on quickly corrects itself. In storage I usually have the battery connect switch off. At least I did in my...

    Rover Setup

Yep. Thanks. Called Canbat and they said classified as AGM. All good.

    Rover Setup

Hey there. Brand new to the site and setting up a trailer build with 200W Renogy twin panels into a 30A Rover. I chose Lead Carbon batts and cant see a listing for them in the controller. It settled on what I think I am reading as solid. So I am assuming it chose this automatically. Does anyone...
