I have three EG4 Power Pro batteries and I always top balance my batteries prior to connecting. So I took a pair of battery cables from my PP batteries and added a 2/0 lug on the end without the Amphenol connector. I connected the Amphenol connector to a battery and then connected the 2/0 lug...
I asked pretty much the same question in the following linked thread and got a reply from the owner of EG4.... you would use the generator to power the Chargeverter.

After updating the firmware on all the batteries they've been running great. I have recently had a few times when the inverter is sending energy to the grid with the batteries not at 100%. I'm about to do a experiment to see if its the BMS from the battery not communicating properly on...
Battery type is 00... and yes as you can see in the pic i have the EG4 conduit boxes on top of each battery and then I ran connections to a main bus bar in the wiring trough below the two sol-arks, and then connected the main battery bus bar to the two sol-arks. I've been tracking deep cycle...
My system consists of two Sol-Ark 15ks in parallel, with 3 EG4 Power Pro's, and 6 EG4 LLV2's shared to both inverters. So far everything is working great. Had to do about 3-4 deep cycles (80% depth of discharge minimum) to calibrate the BMS between all batteries
I've been curious about the Ruixu batteries and the 15k as far as coms... you're having no issues at all? Are you off grid or still tied to the grid? If you are tied to the grid are you selling back excess energy when available?
Make sure all batteries are up to date on firmware on both com ports, and that each battery is set to the Sol-Ark protocol. On the subject of the 2/0 cable part of your post….
You can either buy a 2/0 multi tap connector and extend each cable with 2/0 cable you will purchase
Or
Do what I...
Zero, I’d like to see what weird output readings you’re getting on the load side? Are you splitting the battery com to use Solar Assistant? By the way I also have 6 LLV2 batteries connecting with the three Power Pros and they’re all talking to the Sol-Ark. it took updating the firmware on...
Like the others have said the Sol-Ark is designed to handle that situation. As a matter of fact its so smart it can tell when the power from the company is fluctuating and will disconnect form the grid temporarily until it senses the power is stable and will reconnect. I have two 15k's and they...
I've seen people talk about using the DB9 port on the sol-ark for SA and ditching the dongle but that make me wonder if a DB9 splitter could be used to connect both the dongle and SA via that port. I wonder if anyone has tried that before
