Ok, I see the difference. Thank you! I have decided to buy the AOLithium for $500 less. I have more questions on wiring and disconnects. Should I post those in another area of the Forum?
Thank you Redneck!
I have a update and a few more questions. Since our last discussion, I built a 12 volt system using a MPP Solar 12volt Controller, the four 40 amp 12volt LiPo4 batteries in Parallel and 690 watts of PV. All the parts where sourced as used equipment. This has allowed me to...

This page shows both models They want $400 for shipping.
AOLithium is selling there 100amp 48v rack battery for less then $1,000 with shipping. Might this be a better choice? I need two.
Happy Friday! First post and I am a solar newbie. I am building a 24volt system using 4 ea. 40 ah, Valence RT series U1-12RT batteries.
I want to know how much Solar Panel Watts are going to be required to maintain the batteries during the winter with only a 500 watt hour draw. Also looking for...
Thanks for the information! I have a considerably different application for my system. Would you be willing to advise me if I shared with you my intentions?
I want to run a single phase to three phase convertor.(variable frequency), for 1 hour every 7-10 days. I run this convertor (well pump)...
Good day! I am sizing my PV wire for my small system. I am using 6 ea 400 watt panels in series that give me 222 open volts. The short circuit amps are 13.97. I live in the NW and rarely see temps above 80 degrees and will be running the wire in conduit under the ground. My total run is 300 ft...
The 48 volt one is 15 cells, the 51.2 volt one is 16 cells. But it states that it "charges and discharges only 150 amps". Does this affect anything else?
Thank you for your responses. Unfortunately I'm afraid I don't understand the math...yet. But I do understand Rednecktek's example. I probably need to triple the input wattage if I want any power in the winter..and buy a back up generator.
I just bought my 3rd and fourth Valence batteries (I bought them in pairs to series connect for a 24 volt system) and one of my batteries is at 4.6volts. I tried to trickle (1 amp) charge it with no success. I too would like to know if I can "fix" it(
the charger automatically shuts off. I haven't put a draw on any of them yet. but they have been sitting for a few days and the charge level hasn't changed. Thanks fir the help
I have a 48v 10k Hybrid controller in split phase and will be using this as a battery generator/ back up to my line grid system. Besides voltage, and the 51.2 only charges and discharges 150 amp, what is the difference between these batteries? What would be my best choice (price is the same)?
