Only one year experience so far with some ~29m/s (65MPH) direct hit winds so it's far too early to say how good or bad my setup is. CCA treated poles were "free" and still got plenty of them. No problems so far though.
It's a big sail. 2,9m x 4m, so over 11m2 while reaching 5m from the ground.
I understand people being excited about auroras but for me they are mainly Meh as we see them all the time here. Also day is almost 17,5 hours long now so only few hours dark enough to see anything. Heard they were nice but was sleeping.
Hopefully I can finally turn heating off tomorrow. It...
It's always good to focus $/W. Nothing wrong there. Just keep in mind that white shiny TPO is perfect for bifacials and they can give you something like +15% to +30% additional power compared to monopanels depending installation. It's all about getting reflected light to backside of bipanels so...
Not RV, but I'm using these in my system although 4pole 125A 400V (3-phase AC here). I have two connecting/disconnecting AC coupling to my inverters and one to switch island mode in my main panel in case of outage. Very chinese but with all important CE-marking and seem to work so far. No sparks...
So you don't plan separate garage/tool shed? Everything is incorporated in one building? That's ok and underground concrete vault would do with fire stop and venting outside like @Hedges already said. Also keep in mind that there's a lot of heat produced (inverters, not so much LFP) and climate...
No. Unfortunately it is not.
But then maybe you don't have -40C/-40F...
Strongly suggest separate building with climate control for your solar stuff/batteries. LFP chemistry is considered safe, but I wouldn't want to sit on that much power.
19 years and counting. Got my 48V 625Ah(C/5)/749Ah(C/20) Exide Tudor FLA forklift battery for free over a year ago. It was used on forklift but eventually rejected as it got too weak. It was unused almost a year before I got it. Got it up to 90%SOH but disconnected it from my system for last...
I do own Fiskars CEO's old official car, a 1956 Dodge Coronet. I got it museum approved over 30 years ago and it has been about 25 years since last time I have driven it. It's in excellent shape still almost like the one in picture below, but needs a thorough cleaning because of thick dust...
Can't see how this is even possible. Both Deyes making little over 8,5kW PV so combined ~17kW but still charging 7,13kW + 12,93kW = ~20kW to my batteries. Work mode is Zero Export to CT on both and no grid charge allowed. I have no shunt on my batts as Deye has some internal way to calculate...
Sol-Ark 60K is hybrid. OP might not need battery charge. Deye (=Sol-Ark manufacturer) makes GTI string inverters more than twice that size. Still ~180 string inverters vs 50 bigger string inverters (=central).
