Eg4 mini split and charging batteries

So here is my take on it… If your looking at an off Grid location you’d certainly have to go battery bank. But for the other 80% of people not choppin wood and burning propane, living in the suburbs the hybrid mini is a great alternative to the barrage of salesmen knocking on my door wanting...

Eg4 mini split and charging batteries

Just to note. I was surprised how much power I got in winter. There is a trade off of how much sun and temperature. The cooler it is the more efficient panels work. In the height of summer with your panels so hot you can bearly touch them the less power your going to produce.

Eg4 mini split and charging batteries

The main bulk of a home power needs is heating and cooling. That would be an excellent hobby to squash that expense with an $800 investment 😜

Eg4 mini split and charging batteries

I hear what your saying but, in my opinion The cost is negligible. $1200 for the mini Split, got a sweet deal on Signature Solar on Hyundai 305w panels for $105 bucks ( now they are $88 bucks - what a deal). So with 4 panels and mini and accessories I paid about $2000. Got $1200 bucks...

Eg4 mini split and charging batteries

So to break it down: If you were using the hybrid mini split for 6 hours of good sun per day drawing 1000watts for 30 days a month that would be 1000x6x30=180,000watts or 180kw At 12.88cents per Kw that would be a savings of $23 bucks a month. But that’s not the end of the story. If you...

Eg4 mini split and charging batteries

Again, The average cost of electricity in the United States is 12.88 cents per kilowatt hour (kWh). A lot to do for nothing. Just peanuts. Just set it and forget it. No need to worry bout every drop unless your on a battery system counting your chickens. The main bulk of the power youll see...

    EG4 mini split

Yes indeed. It does say you can claim it multiple years. It may have changed to allow multiple years. That’s great I am going to fill in Q-Dog as my Tax Advisor!

    EG4 mini split

Maybe I can claim the panels on a different rebate. I’ll have to rerun it But panels I thought you can only do one time and I have claimed them previously Well see

    EG4 mini split

It’s not a state program. I use Turbo tax that has all the latest forms From what I saw the A/C credit was only 20% I’ll have to pull it up again and look

    EG4 mini split

You’d have to read the fine print. The rebate may include high efficiency heat pumps. I’ll take a look again before I ship it

    EG4 mini split

Your guess is as good as mine. Signature Solar advertised the rebate on their site for it. We’ll see I bet I’ll get the rebate. Since Trump fired half the IRS. No one cares.

    EG4 mini split

Well. I filled out my taxes. Claiming this as a geothermal pump because it does heat too I claimed the mini split, solar panels, cable, shut off and all hardware. I also added the Pecron E2000 because I have it wired up to take the Ac power part from the Pecron I believe it qualifies . If...
