I am an electrical engineer but for most of my career, I have been working with low voltage control systems. So designing and building off-grid solar systems is an exciting opportunity to learn something new. So far I made a basic design of a required system, but now I have several questions and I would like to get some feedback from more experienced people.
Current or Future Solar Power System
Off-grit tool shed with 2x200W panels, 4000W inverter, and 2x200Ah batteries. I hope to connect everything together and run 8 AWG from the inverter to the breaker box, then split this into two loops, one for outdoor receptacles, a second for indoor, and the third one for the lights.
