    This is what I was worried about as well which is why I contacted Renogy. According to them there’s a pretty healthy safety factor built into that 150VDC number and they assured my 6S would be okay.

    😂 Yea that’s the only reason I was willing to push the limits! But then there’s the safety aspect of it. Fires suck! lol

    Yeaaa I’m seriously considering the 5S. I’d just have to change my entire layout of the panels. At 6S factoring in the temp coefficient and the typical cold weather here in Chicagoland, worst case the voltage would get to about 165VDC. May have to buy another panel and do 5S5P.
