What Mini-Split did you use, and Why?

If you buy different brands like I did, so many similarities. Even remotes are the same. My Pioneer wi fi adapter will somehow confuse the Senville Alexa wi fi if I rapidly change temp on the Pioneer and the Senville can confuse the Pioneer. One day I'll figure out how to get around that.

    House burned down

I have 24 of them sitting in a box here. These draw less watts at lower voltages. Coil is 24V, not 48V. This requires a converter. I think the coil will still work at 12V. I bought these for a different purpose but decided to not implement that idea. These do draw power all the time when ON.

What Mini-Split did you use, and Why?

I've heard Midea makes all of these units and just different brand names.

What Mini-Split did you use, and Why?

Yes, that sounds about right, led's on outdoor unit circuit board. The problem is if the outdoor unit coil temp sensor just has dropouts or reads incorrectly, it probably won't set a code and the unit will be erratic. That is why I'm leaning towards pulling the sensor and graphing resistance...

What Mini-Split did you use, and Why?

I have 9K BTU model in my truck camper. Senville SEER ratings are all over the place, a 36K unit might be 24 while a 24K might be 22 and a dual head 24 is higher.

What Mini-Split did you use, and Why?

It's in the tech manual how to pull codes if I recall correctly.

Thanks,Dad, For Teaching Me to DIY Stuff

Run the numbers (for concrete costs in your area) but in my experience, the redi mix trucks wins. I own a 5 gallon mortar mixer and a 1/3 yard mixer my grandfather used back in the day before redi mix. I have concrete rock and sand on hand. But to fill the 3 foot x 9.5 foot holes for my next...

What Mini-Split did you use, and Why?

No codes on my Pioneer. I contacted Pioneer (support not that good) and they gave me a download link for the tech manual. I looked at defrost conditions and when it would occur. I'd have to stand out in the cold to run some tests unless I just pull the temp sensor and graph the resistance with...

What Mini-Split did you use, and Why?

No, not 28 SEER 2. I just had 2 of these delivered https://senville.com/24000-btu-mini-split-air-conditioner-sena-24hf/ these are 21.5 SEER 2. Boxes say 21.5 SEER 2 I'd be skeptical of the claimed SEER 2 for the EG4. That is pretty high. Maybe they are using R290. :ROFLMAO:

What Mini-Split did you use, and Why?

Any mini split in defrost mode will slightly cool the room as it is basically running the AC cycle to defrost the outside coil. Heat energy has to come from somewhere.

What Mini-Split did you use, and Why?

Pioneer floor mount does act similar to what is described for the Senville floor mount. It is a strange thing, my thoughts are it is the outside condensing unit core temp sensor is defective only at certain temps. I was going to pull it out someday and graph it on my graphing multimeter as I...

    House burned down

But what was used at Moss Landing when it was built? There are Megapacks that are LFP, however, those are Megapack 2 and your copied chart says Megapack 2, right at the top. I have not seen anything Moss Landing used Megapack 2 before the "problems" so my assumption will be it was Megapack NMC...

SCC not shifting to Float Charging Mode

It depends on the charger. In this case, I would use it and forget about holding the battery at 14.4V. It actually might be beneficial to the battery long term as 100% SOC with full absorption is hit. The question is whether amps actually drop to almost 0A and how much time it spends in CV.

SCC not shifting to Float Charging Mode

I'm using a power supply, not a charger. I also have a charger that will enter a desulfation phase if required of around 15.0V. It depends on the battery manufacturer specs and the charger. For your charger, that is perfectly acceptable as I already related. Your problem is the loads are...

    House burned down

AZ fire- The battery modules contained 28 Li-ion battery cells (14 series, 2 parallel) of Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) chemistry and a module-level BMS. The 14 battery modules were connected in series, which provided a per-rack nominal voltage of 721 V. The LG Chem batteries in the McMicken...
