All Neutrals head back on bus bar? Question!

Thanks, I was thinking that too. So "neutral" really has a buss-bar type installation that every component connects its neutral to. Just like every ground is "common".

All Neutrals head back on bus bar? Question!

I've only done basic wiring before and just writing to make sure I understand my circuit breakers wiring diagram so I don't blow anything up. I'm going from a Victron Multiplus-II mobile application running 12v Lithium, that has A/C out (L1/PE/N), going into a Blue Sea model 1214 120v breaker...

High power fuse question... too many?

I have a single 6 kWh Lithium so it has tons of juice that it could throw out all at once, just to be safe I went with T-class. That was my thought with the single T-Class between the battery positive terminal and the disconnect switch before the positive bus bar. If any of that large cable...

High power fuse question... too many?

I'm building an overland rig and using this example diagram: There is a 400 Amp T-class fuse between positive battery and cut off switch. But there is also a 400 Amp T-class fuse coming off the positive bus bar on the cable headed to the Inverter/Charger. My question is.. if any short...

    Midnite Solar Rosie on sale

I love how they always give them ridiculous names. Always surprised me at how good the Chinese are at copying but how terrible they are at designing/innovating.

    Midnite Solar Rosie on sale

You just described the West selling its soul to China for the last three decades.

    Sol-Ark/China

I like your transparency, and my Trace/Xantrex Inverter and Outback MPPT has been going strong for almost 20 years now. I was considering getting a Sol-Ark 15K (but don't need grid tie as I'm off-grid), but am leaning towards your new Midnight Solar Rosie inverter and Barcelona charge controller.

    Local Pittsburgh Solar Battery Fire

Sorry for a thread necro, I thought SimpliPhi chemistry and build quality was high? I was looking at purchasing half a dozen of their 3.8 kWh batteries for my off grid. Could anyone point me to a few top 24v 3-4 kWh batteries for off-grid use? EDIT: just checked and the SimpliPhi 3.8's are •...

    Sol-Ark needs a serious Change!

I'm off-grid and don't need anything grid-tie related. Ay suggestions for use with the SMA Sunny Island 6048-US? My new system will be about 5kW solar.

    Sol-Ark needs a serious Change!

Thanks guys, the SMA Sunny Island 6048-US Inverter looks to be exactly what I'm looking for.

    Sol-Ark needs a serious Change!

I'm looking for a Hybrid inverter and found this thread quite interesting. Does anyone make a somewhat comparable Hybrid to the Sol Ark that isn't made in Chyna?

    Crestone Colorado system upgrade help!

Thanks for your input. I found out my PA to charge controller is 4 gauge wire. The run is about 100 feet. Although I could not locate the fuse from the PV array to charge controller.

    Crestone Colorado system upgrade help!

Another question, what are typically some of the higher end brands that are super reliable? Reliability is very important for my setup.

    Crestone Colorado system upgrade help!

Oh god I just saw the Sol Ark 12K is made in China, for $7K what a joke. So I don't need grid-tie in capability. All I need is a combination PV input of 6kW or more input, 120v 50 AMP/240v 20 AMP inverter output capability, with generator input. Smart monitoring. Made in USA/Europe or Japan...
