I live near Vancouver Canada and am being bombarded with companies wanting me to install solar.
The interesting part is that the Canadian Govt will provide a $40,000 interest free 10 year loan
to do it.
I have no idea of what it might cost although I do understand solar as I personally installed a system in my motor home.
So here are the facts I have so far.
we use 30000 KWH per year.
I have a south facing roof of 1170 sq.ft The roof is only a few years old and metal so no worries of re-roofing in the near (of far?) future.
I would be interested in comments about how many panels would be needed to provide the required power.
There would NOT be storage involved(i.e. batteries)
This has to be done by a qualified installed(no DIY here)
Your input would be appreciated.
Regards
Fred
