So I ordered 2 Allpower S2000 Pro (USED) from Allpowers eBay store. I got them for roughly $600 each. What I received was 1x Allpower S2000 Pro and 1x Allpower S2000 (not pro). The Pro version worked as intended but the non-pro didn't. it was flickering and not turning on. In the end, they told me I could keep the unit and they refunded me the $600 for the unit.

What I'm looking to do is combine the battery from the Non-Pro to the Pro. I cracked them both open and I can see Xt90 plugs in both that I think lead to the batteries terminals. Couldn't I run these in parallel buy connecting the two batteries using these XT90 plugs? Then use the Pro version for everything else? (MPPT and Inventor)

I hope I make sense here.

I need the pro version because of the 30amp plug for my RV.

Hey aonavy...

I have almost the exact same situation. I received a broken S2000 Pro with an error code so they shipped me a new one. I was thinking I would remove the bad unit's battery and try to figure out how to use it to input into the good unit's XT60 solar input port. I like your idea much better if we can get it to work. I haven't gotten anywhere in taking my bad unit apart yet (time constraints mainly). Can you give me some clues/suggestions on how to open up the unit?

To start with you might get an XT90 to XT60 adapter cable and see if you can get it to transfer any KWs into the good unit through the DC Solar input port. If that works then you can decide if you want to purchase an XT90 battery charger and/or an XT90 Y cable to see if your theory will work. As long as there aren't any other cables coming off the BMS, I would think a Y (splitter) cable would work as we both want it to.

Hey there! I must of missed this message. I ripped all mine apart already but to sure what I have here. I'm hoping if I post some pictures someone might be able to chime in...

To open up the unit, remove the rubber feet at the bottom, then remove the large bolts x4. Easy!
