Has anyone ordered from gobelpower.com before? Good or bad experience? I have to create an account to get shipping info, which I am holding off doing.

Is $59 a good deal for grade B 280 Ah cells? This will be my first time buying cells and my first time ordering from outside the USA. So I'm more than a little scared.
 
A few members have ordered from them.
I believe @42OhmsPA ordered a batch of those cells as well
 
I did but backed out due to concern with shipping then found an amazing CL deal, that didn't transpire (I still have a sliver of hope), so I'm back on the hunt for more cells. I should have just ordered them way back when...

Battero Tech BT280 - Info?

If you do a search for Battero Tech and Gobel you'll find a bunch of info.
Shipping / cargo delays are my biggest concern ordering cells from China.
 
Battery Hookup is very close. About a 3 hour drive. And they have some interesting auctions. Time to try and snipe a deal.

gobelpower not only charges shipping, they have a 4.4% payment charge. I finally bit the bullet and signed up. But the payment charge stopped me. :(
 
I initially ordered 4 × "EV Grade A EVE 3.2V 280Ah Rechargeable LiFePO4 Battery Cell". Cells were flat, QR code intact and tested well. The tracking (Chinese) was provided before arriving in the US, then transferred to UPS with a new tracking number. Ordered Feb11, arrived March 27. I have since ordered 12 more.

FYI...I have also had a good experience with Luyuan (Amy Wan) with 16x304 AH Eve cells - flat, tested well and she was very responsive throughout the process.

Very nice test results! Well above stated AH.
 
I ordered a DIY battery box kit along with 16 MB30 cells from Gobel. They arrived quicker than anticipated. The cells looked perfect. I measured the voltage with my 4 digit voltmeter and EVERY cell measured exactly 3.264V...pretty good matching!
 
Docan has 280ah rept for $50, with insulators and busbar, but also with shipping will prob end up about the same as the Battero from Gobel.

I just purchases Thirty two 280 AMP EVE batteries from them, They came by ship in about 4 weeks, all boxes were in excellent shape. Have not opened them up yet, so not sure what's inside. No problem dealing with them, communicated via mail, did a bank transfer to pay...
