First solar system install (other than RV setups) and I'm a bit confused on the MPPT specs for this inverter. The 6000XP has two MPPT's, each is rated at 17A and 480V max. Question is can each have a completely different voltage input or do both MPPT's need the same voltage input? Example one has 300V and the other say 250V. Manual isn't clear enough for this noob. I'm possibly dealing with an odd number of panels after some damage occurred this morning involving my skid steer. I'm good with buying replacement panels but if I don't need to id rather not.

There are two MPPT:

480V Voc max
17A usable PV input current (Imp)
22A Isc max

They are independent of each other.

300V on 1 and 250V on the other should be no issue provided you are in the MPPT operating range.

The wording is a little confusing, I will reach out to our technical writing team to see if we can get this adjusted.

Would this still be fine? Extreme scenario could one aray face East on one MPPT and the other face West on second MPPT? S

Below is what the manual says.

When sizing strings for each MPPT, they MUST be the same model, brand and # per string(series and parallel). All panels on a series/parallel string should face the same orientation and be exposed to roughly the same shading across the string.

As long as the PV input mode is not set to "Two MPPT connects to same string," this would be ok.

This is trying to say all panels in the same string attached to each mppt should be the same type and face the same direction.
The panels attached to the second mppt can be facing a different direction. They could be different types to the other string and indeed a different quantity.
