Semtive wind tubine

I would have to say, no one has a vertical wind turbine that produces as marketed!!!
Small Horizontal wind turbines have a hard enough time producing power, vertical turbines produce less than horizontal.

A good primer on small wind;

I've not seen anything about that one but can offer that all vertical axis wind turbines struggle to make ANY energy. If the cost is low and your interest is high enough that you don't care about ever getting usable energy from it then my suggestion is to proceed with it. History is littered with 100's of VAWT startups that didn't make it more than a few years.

However if you're looking for the best value then go with solar PV, it's much more predictable and reliable, just not near as fun to watch.

PS. I think wind is really cool.

My VAWT produced power at almost exactly $100/KWHR from the time I put it up to the time I took it down so it wouldn't fall on my solar array.

Solar is a big win here.

Well, to be fair, it has some residual value, I used one of the clamp fittings as a hammer to help open one of the boxes on my EG4 batteries. 8*)
