I have finally decided on EG4 mobile 48 volt solar power system. I live in Louisiana and will be purchasing 3kW All in one and 48 volt Server Rack Battery. I have read and reviewed Will’s youtube multiple times.
I am concerned about the negative comments that I have read on this forum and others about Signature Solar and don’ know if I want to take a chance with them with my money. My question is there other vendors located in Texas or South Louisiana that I can contact to purchase?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much.

I wouldn't worry about it. Signature isn't Amazon it's not satisfaction guaranteed with free shipping both ways but they're real, not a scam, and I believe they do try to figure out how to handle this stuff fairly in a business where user error is the norm.

And if you do have a problem, you can literally bug them on the forum about it. That's a special service if you ask me.

Good luck getting anything done correctly with Signature Solar. Be prepared for incompetence beyond belief and a nightmare of demonic proportions getting anything done correctly with the buggy EG4 products. I will be laying out my last 6 weeks of the EG4 and signature solar nightmare for all to see in the next few days. I have kept it in DM's and quiet until now but at this point I am angry beyond comprehension with these people.

Hint, Picture driving a 17 hour round trip to Texas to get a bad EG4 LL V2 battery replaced after 6 weeks of failed back and forth of trying to get it replaced ( Under warranty) to end up getting there and waiting 3 hours because no one communicated anything about the battery I had been promised was waiting there for me to replace that wasn't actually there, no one knew about it, It was all a lie, to finally bring home another LL rack battery that they swapped that was an older version V1 in a V2 box which does not work either, cannot communicate with the 6000XP, cannot access it to change the protocol to try to make it work under the 6000 xp and cannot be updated.... And when I look up the issues to find a resolution I see its a common problem for EG4 batteries and there never seems to be a fix.

Thank you so much for the honest information. Will needs to see your post as he has been bought by them, selling us out on this forum. He could make this right if he wanted but as long as he is paid for his services and we watch his youtube video’s he is making money and they are as well. I have lost alot of respect for what he says.
Do you have any recommendations other than using Signature Solar and EG4.
Thank you so much

Will, is about as honest and upfront as you can get.
He is not bought by anyone. He tells it straight, good or bad.

My EG4 3000 and 12 ll batteries have been working perfectly for over 18 months. I know people have had problems. EG4 is not top tier products, so you do not get top tier support. DIY is taking risk on yourself. Hire a contractor and place the risk on them. I am happy I went DIY with EG4.

I haven't had any issues with Signature Solar, but The EG4 brand/product line is too new for me to trust it yet.

Current Connected are out of Vegas and have a great reputation for customer service.

There are several things I would recommend before deciding on a distributor (after all most of the solar equipment is manufactured in China and distributed in the USA is via a USA licensed company):

Check the BBB website for the distributor to see how they are rated and how many complaints have been posted but equally important is whether the company resolved the complaint(s).

Find out what state the company is licensed in (the BBB will generally provide this info) and then access that states "Secretary Of State" website where you can look up whether the company is licensed in the state and the particulars of the license. This also besides the BBB gives you a second venue for lodging a complaint against the company.

Hi! I am so sorry you're feeling this way! I'm not sure what has caused this but I will be addressing this first thing in the morning. If you'd like to DM me your name and email address, I'd like to get this cleared up and taken care of!

Out of over 100k orders. BBB reviews are notoriously negative (see lowe's and home depot)
Gigabytes are spent here on a tight number of mistakes, many of which are not even honest (I assume the above poster is honest and Jess is looking into the situation before further comment)

I completely understand anger and frustrations over the situation you described. I've had some interactions with S2 over some EG4 issues, as well. My experience with Jess has been top notch. I can guarantee that she will get you taken care of!
S2 and EG4 are on a continuous improvement journey. Do they have more to do? Yes. They are improving their facilities, processes, and staffing on a near daily basis.
As for trusting Will... I honestly believe he is NOT bought and paid for. While I've never met him, he is tireless in his efforts to educate and assist this community. I refuse to believe anything that questions his integrity. He put this forum together for the community - not income. If he can make a buck, good for him.
Please, take a breath. You're amongst friendly folks who are willing to help. S2, EG4, and Will are people trying to do the best they can - as are you. We all understand your pain.
Please, let us know the outcome. I, for one, will be shocked if things aren't made right.

I would go with CC, as my experience with SS has not been that great.

If you want a slightly used 6000xp in it's orig box, let me know, I am right next door to you in Texas, and my loss could be your gain :)

If you are referring to me as the above poster I can absolutely assure you I m being 100% honest. I even agree with you on your BBB assessment.

I will go you one further, after having been there the day of the grand opening and seeing the happiest workers I have ever seen anywhere I have been left with a serious disconnect between the signature solar I have seen vs the one I have been dealing with. You guys have some exceptional people, some very smart people, and then you have some who are a serious detriment to the company. If I didn't know better I would assume I was dealing with a signature solar in two different dimensions.....
