My opionion is that they only post prices of what they have in their own inventory. If they don't have it, you contact them and they will check the price.

I have a set of 8 Envision 315Ah cells, that I really like, they cost a bit more (ie about 6% more) than a set of 304Ah cells at the time of my purchase last summer. IIRC my 315Ah cells are the same dimensions as the 304's 280's - so at a lower cost for higher capacity in the same form factor, why would anyone buy the 280's over the 314's offered by EVE?

This is the case. I was going to buy 306ah cells, price was posted. Then they told me they are out of stock, won't be getting any in till end of July, and price disappeared.

Yeah, I saw that too. I'm guessing it's because they are shipping the 280ah anyway to stock here.
Shipping for me on 48 314ah cells is $710. With 4.4% Paypal fee, total cost $92.71 per cell. A lot cheaper than I paid for my previous orders of 304ah last year.

You all are catching up to me.
I should have waited an bought them as they developed.

At the time of COVID things looked fairly dire so got them them.

Hindsight always 20/20.

Good to know can always add more in the future.

I just saw that video yesterday. And today my 16 MB30 cells and DIY case arrived. I ordered the PC200 BMS and the front panel does have the cutout for the display. The BMS he is using has a much bigger display, so that may explain it. No instructions. It will be awhile before I can see how well it goes together. My batteries have a single 6mm stud for each terminal; they look perfect.

Nice price on the kit, the breakers alone are hard to source and pricy.
But free shipping only seems to apply to the 280Ah cells. Still... I like that battery case 👍
