In my motorhome I have 2 SK12V206 lithium batteries charged by a Magnum MS2012 inverter with the ME-ARC remote display and a ME-BMK battery management kit. I am thinking of installing a Victron BMV-712 Smart battery monitor with Bluetooth. I understand it might be more accurate especially in state of charge (SOC) reporting plus it has Bluetooth.My question is can I have both the ME-BMK and the BMV-712 installed at the same time. Would that require both system’s shunts be installed in series? Or are all shunts the same and I could connect both BMK’s to one shunt, if that’s possible?
