I have a 6k aio. I have attached the manual below. Today is my first time having AC input hooked up. My question/ observation is.. I have it set so when my battery hits 49 volts, ac input kicks on. This will happen around 10 or 11 at night. However, I don't want it charging my batteries at "x" amount of amps at night and powering loads, when I would rather have the PV charge the batteries in the AM and AC powering the minimum loads the rest of the night.

How do I control this?

Setting charging to solar only.
I don't remember the Setting number. But it should be easy to find.

Thanks Tim, I did see that. So if for example we get over a week of rain every day, as we have had for the past 8-9 days, then I can change that same setting to charging with the AC input to keep batteries topped off. Once we get clear days, switch it back to solar only. Does that sound right?

In addition to this..

How should I set my equalization? How do I know if it's doing this monthly? Does this only happen when hook to AC?

Assuming you are using FLA (Flooded Lead Acid) batteries. You don't equalize with LFP (LiFePo4/ Lithium Iron Phosphate).
I'm Really not sure how it does that function.
