I really need a rack battery to set up my initial system and run a mini split..... Signature Solar is $450. in shipping to me in NV ... YIKES !!!
Free shipping on Amazon, but of course no EG4 or SOK , etc.... is there any battery on Amazon worth it ?

Most 100ah or larger 48v batteries will be too heavy (and fall outside of some hazard requirements possibly) and will have to ship freight thus causing more expense.

Current connected and @HighTechLab is in Nevada and supports SOK batteries. Maybe you could arrange a local pickup?

One battery will run you about $330 in shipping from us...and we are covering part of the cost at that rate still! FedEx doesn't give their services for free and you shouldn't expect the seller of quality product to foot the bill just to entice a sale.

We're in Vegas, and we have another distributor in Reno if you want to do a pickup. We do have a dock fee however, for will calls an appointments needs to be scheduled 48 hours in advance.

Their website indicates a $200 dock fee. If you add in your drive time to Las Vegas (90 min each way) it's probably a wash with the standard shipping charge.

Best method is to buy more than what you need so the shipping cost per each pack is reduced, then sell the excess on offerup or Craigslist. Many people do this for budget panels offered by Santa solar.

If you want the cheapest possible battery with free shipping, some no name Chinese 12V batteries in series from Amazon would work.

You're better off making more money and getting quality products though. Just my opinion after testing everything on the market. Save up more money and get the good stuff.
