Hey all,
I just ordered the EG4 6000XP and noticed that unlike a lot of the other inverters they offer, there wouldn't be any battery cables coming. I looked in the manual to see what the needed gauge would be and am seeing 1AWG for Inverter-to-Battery. So I go to search for my favorite cables - WindyNation - and they offer 3/8th or 5/16ths lug sizes. I've got a 3 battery array with the 3-size EG4 rack and would connect to the EG4 6000XP, so I'm probably going to get 5 feet to connect to the bottom of the array on one side, and the top of the array on the other side.
My question is what is the recommended lug size to get for this? I didn't see in the manual, what recommended lug size, but they did list the terminal block size. I'd rather buy from WindyNation and get an appropriate lug size than try and crimp my own, but would need to know the size.
3/8ths or 5/16ths?
Advice much appreciated!
