Hello everyone,

We recently had the following inverter and batteries installed.

- SOLAX TRIPLE POWER MASTER BATTERY 5.8 KWH
- SOLAX TRIPLE POWER SLAVE BATTERY 5.8 KWH
- SOLAX X3 HYBRID 5.0 KWH INVERTER

This together with a solar panel installation of 7200 watt peak.
Before this, we only had a solar panel installation of 3600 watt peak with a huawei fusionSolar inverter, without batteries.

Since the installation, we have noticed the following:
- The inverter always indicates 1000 watts more consumption than actually in our house.
- The first 1000 watts generated by the solar panels are integrally injected into the grid.
- If the solar panels generate more than 1000 watts, the first 1000 watts are still injected to the grid, but the rest goes to the battery.
- When the batteries are fully charged, the surplus is injected to the grid. This is normal.
- As soon as the sun sets and the solar panels generate less than 1000 watts again or nothing at all, the battery will always discharge at least 1000 watts extra (because the consumption in the inverter is wrong). That 1000 watts is also injected back into the grid. In this way, our battery drains pretty quickly. At this time of year, around midnight.

Has anyone ever experienced or seen anything similar? Or any idea what could have caused this?

In the following image you can see we start with an empty battery and pull power from the grid (the purple line). As soon as the solar panels are generating power, most of it is injected to the grid until midnight (the green line)

A more detailed version below:

- light and dark blue: use grid power
- orange: self used solar panel power
- purple: exported power
- red: battery charge
- green: battery discharge

The solax app shows how fast the battery is discharged

Our normal consumption, no appliances, just lights at night, is between 200 and 300 watts. In the attached images, you can see that our battery is discharging those 1000 watts extra.

This results in the following injection to the grid

can you check your export setting on the SOLAX X3 HYBRID see if it says 1000 if so drop to 0
