The MPPT has 3 negatives and 3 positives for connecting the PV's and I have 20 panels for a total of 8200 watts, should I try to split it across the 3? So 7, 7, and 6 panels?
Are those actually separate trackers or are they just parallel connections? If they are parallel connections, you must have the same series voltage in all three strings, i.e., all three 6S or 7S, no mixing.
Conext is a single MPPT. The 3-position terminal is for convenience only.
Would be better to do 2 strings of 10 panels assuming that is a 600V controller.
This forum is amazing. Thank you all! I will try to give back to the community once I finish my project.. maybe I can share things about how I did the pole mount (20 panels on one steel frame mounted to a 6" pipe)
