    Idiot check.

The existing Power Converter is grounded to chassis, as is the house battery. The inverter will be to the BMS and battery directly. I plan on only running the existing house wiring from the chassis and the DC-DC charger. Is this acceptable?

    Idiot check.

Also, eventually I plan on having a large inverter right off the battery, hence the 400 amp bms.

    Idiot check.

The bus is actually a 100 amp bms with a relay with economizer. It's all 4ga. I will move the shunt. The battery is 16x Winston lifepo4 260ah cells,

    Charging single cell

Thanks for all your input guys, I figured it out.

Hey guys, I'm about to start wiring my pack into my RV, does this look right? The "PC" is power converter.

    Charging single cell

I did set the voltage beforehand. The voltage climbed by itself, is this ok?

    Charging single cell

The picture was a lithium ion cell. Thecells I want to charge are lifepo4. When I connected that cell to the PSU I set the voltage to 3.65, now I saw the PSU climb to 4.22 volts and I stopped it because I'm not sure that's right. I took the cells apart, I think I had the wiring fed on the series...

    Charging single cell

Hey guys, I recently purchased 16 used cells im building in a 13kw battery, anyway, I bought a bench power supply so I can top balance the cells. I understand you first use constant current then switch to constant voltage to finish charging.i set my voltage to 4.1v on the supply, connected it to...

    Copper strip bus

I bought a 400 amp relay with economizer, so I will use a 100 amp bms to control that. Do you think I could get away with 1/16x1 bus bar? Thank you

    Copper strip bus

Hey guys I'm in the process of building a 4s4p pack from 260 ah cells. The cells have m12 bolt holes for the studs, I can't seem to find any premade bus bar that would fit these, so im looking at .125x1 copper bar. Would this be suitable for the current? I'm thinking the largest load these...

    RV Lithium Conversion

Mine does have the relay. The motorhome has a 145 amp alternator. So when the motor is running, it would send current to the DC-DC charger from the alternator. When the Genny/shore power is supplying, the 55 amp power converter will supply power to the DC-DC charger. Will supplying the 70 amp...

    RV Lithium Conversion

The RV has a relay that connects and disconnects the starter battery/alternator from the house battery when the key is in the off position. I have a 145 amp alternator and a 55 amp power converter.

    RV Lithium Conversion

Thanks guys. I must have been vague, the DC -DC charger will be after the alternator. Will the 55amp feeding a 70 amp dc-dc charger cause issues? I am working on drawing it out and will post when completed.

    RV Lithium Conversion

Hi guys! New to the forum but very familiar with Will's videos. Anyway, I live in Colorado in my RV full time, after dealing with this shitty lead acid house batteries that wont run my furnaces through the night, I decided lithium is the way to go. I scored 16x LYP260AHA cells for a great deal...
