Needs to be micro air 368-72 I tried the one SS sells and it wouldn't start when I was getting higher start amps. I'm usually around 33 amps now with 4t. They also changed my firmware. I was on 1717 before what I have now. I also have no grid input at all

I don't have grid hooked up. It says 10 min at 14.7 kw and 5 min at 15.5 kw with solar. 13.5 kw with no solar. I look at it as 12 kw. Playing the game of running more will end up shutting down your house. Nice to have a cushion. But I just would turn off any load over 12kw

Here is what I just tested. Started AC with 6824 w already on. Went to 9884w with AC. Then I turned on a couple burners on oven and it went to 13.5kw. So all is good so far. Inverter was great all winter. Just wasn't happy with my AC and now it seems happy all the time

So far yes. They have changed my firmware a few times. I also changed out soft start. This is my 3rd one. When I first had issues I went with a different brand that SS sells. It was no different so I went back to Micro Air so I can see the start amps. I just installed a new Micro Air. Not sure...

I did have 1919. That is what you removed and installed 1616. 1919 would start AC and then shut off after 5 sec. Then on 3rd try it said over voltage on the soft start.

I'm still curious how you got 2x the rated output of the inverter. 12,000w at 1.35% is 67.5 amps. Can you explain?

Only flashes/blinks when AC is starting. Now that I have the AC start amps lower then they have ever been, I would have thought it would have been better. But I was on 1312 firmware before, and now I'm on 1616. Before, it was a blink/flash. Now, it is multiple blinks/flashes.

I have know idea. I know I ran the same setup with 2 6548's and not once did the AC not start for 2 summers. When I first installed this inverter it shut down trying to start AC. Now after numerous firmware changes it will run AC.

No I'm still fighting same inverter you changed firmware on in October. Would shut off the whole house trying to start AC So at 147 I really have a POS then

That's 11,280w. So either something is different with that inverter or my inverter has been the issue all along.

How did it do 94 amps? If that's the case my inverter is the problem. It won't start anything over 62 amps

I installed a new Micro Air today. The start amps are 32-33 amps now. But the light show I get everytime it starts is not good. So I'm not sure what is up but when I was on 1312 I use to get big blink on a hard start. Now I have 10-15 amp less hit and the lights flashing is terrible

Nope. Still taking 42-45 amps to start and in 60's here. Just had my AC checked out and all it good. Charge is perfect. Not sure what was up with 1919. But AC would Starr and then shut off

I'm on 1616 and all is good. That is what Markus said was good. It starts and runs now. But in 60s here. AC guy coming to check my AC at 10.

What model is your micro air? 368-48 or 368-72?

Update worked so good that now my AC won't start at all. It's 67 degrees here and would run it fine when it's cool out. Now it starts and runs for 5 seconds and says power interrupted or over voltage. I should have know better and left it alone

Because they were noisy and I wanted to have a inverter that was CA legal. I really like this inverter. It just doesn't have the normal surge of other inverters. Not knowing that is the problem. It's not listed anywhere. I could careless that it can do more then 12,000w for a short time...

I replaced them with EG4 18k pv. Wish I would have went another route. Works great on normal loads. But anything 240v that cycles makes lights blink. Surge capacity is not high enough and I had AC issues which I never had with the 2 6548's. Bunch of firmware updates but was November. Doesn't...

Selling my 2 6548's. Worked great. Not one issue when I was running them. $700 ea. Will ship at buyers cost

I have been using it for 16 months. Works good and let's me see the batteries. Never could get my 6548's to communicate so this let's me see it.
