I too am in search of good 32700/32650 cells. I am in the process of trying several vendors, typically getting a pack of 12 since the price is often just a bit more than if you bought 2 or 4. I started naive, going after the 12.8ah batteries, thinking 'great, more capacity in same space'. Boy...

I am pretty sure the 7ah 32700 battery he mentioned is meant as a description as to what brand type he will be getting. It's a 3.2v cell, you can't run those 12v led's off of it. He says 12a-14a ...I presume he meant 12 to 14ah. That means a 2P4S battery pack. Cheers

That is what I thought and observed indeed. What puzzles me is why do SCC towards the end of charging do all he shenanigans of tapering the current to the batteries, when the batteries will do it on their own. That is what I don't get

That is a different type of bms. Namely the Jbd BMS have a pluggable BT. The SOK does not. But I spoke to the manufacturer and got the schematics of the 3 resistors that provide power to the BT and unsoldered them. Problem solved.

Ok one more question comes to mind. I understand about the BMS. How about an Active Balancer like a Heltec, which can balance up to 5amp? Am I not wrong it uses XH2.54 connector that is rated only at 3amp? And those tiny wires do supply the actual current no? Or How about the Neely Active...
