I still cannot see how a single failed cell can cascade into this failure without lots of extenuating circumstances. Is it possible that a failed inverter with a large inductor shutting down introduced a large voltage spike to the batteries that caused dielectric breakdown in multiple cells...

Trying to save $ on the printer is false economy. Within a couple of months the amount you spend on filiment will easily eclipse the printer cost. Additionally care and feeding of an ender 3 will cost you significantly more than maintenance on a better printer. Strength is a matter of design...

Asa would be a decent choice, easier to print than abs... but you probably won't be happy printing either of these on an ender 3. Upgrading to a k1 or at least using an enclosure will help.

Best practice would be to mount on a non-combustable surface. Drywall, hardee plank or aluminum plate are all good options.

It usually takes the SOC monitors a few cycles to calibrate themselves. If that doesn't take care of itself, there must be a problem with wiring/connections.

All of those terms are not enforcable... they cannot indemnify themselves against their own negligence.

If you just go by feel, you will never get it correct and if it loosens up it will get hot and can cause a fire. If you use a torque wrench you will at least think it is correct ?

If they are not working and Signature is not helping, try contacting your credit card company to initiate a charge back.

The III-IV based triple junction cells from Spectrolab are quite nice... 32% BOL efficiency and great reliability No where near the same price as common solar panels.

Perhaps the best choice is to pick a company that actually wants your business. If the service is this bad before the sale, how bad will it be if you have a problem after the sale?

Q for will: If a customer has a product which he has seen illegally exporting power, why would you expect him go out of his way to reconnect it in order to provide data on the illegal export for you.

I have purchased from SS in the past, but given their response here, I definitely will not be purchasing from them in the future. Their business is not worth supporting. Let the marketplace fire them. I am Voting against them with my $.

I am confused. Op bought a unit that didn't work correctly. He worked diligently with SS to resolve the problem, but they took lots of time and made things worse, so he requested a refund. All is good... Then Will jumped in to defend SS demanding data to support claims while SS's customer...

Make sure it is not installed backwards, that will really mess with the SOC calculation algorithm.
